Garrett had a fun Birthday this year, we had a treasure hunt that was a big hit! I had to wear those boys out!

The boys are having fun with their new Christmas toys, I took off Gavin's training wheels yesterday and he is finally getting the hang of it.

Cat Paws

After DE-clawing Jessica's cat over 10 years ago (I assisted the vet), I decided that it just wasn't' something I wanted to do again, a friend had told me about "soft paws". I love the Internet for looking things up, so I googled it and found that they have covers you can put over cats claws. They come in different colors and sizes( you can only get clear at Pet Smart) and also for dogs. I am very pleased with the results! No more scratched up kids, furniture and my drapes!!!! It was even cheaper online even with shipping than at the store. I wish I had come up with this idea, I'd be living in the tropics by now!

We Got Snow!!

We went to bed last night with it raining and the news that school would be canceled because of the snow storm coming. I kinda laughed because being from Idaho a little snow doesn't bother us. But this is what we woke up to this morning. The kids haven't played in snow for 3 years!!

Early Christmas Gift

We went looking for kittens yesterday and found Miss Quinn lonely in a pet store and fell in love with her instantly. So, we brought her home for an early Christmas present. Chip doesn't seem to mind her and hopefully some day they will be best friends. For now she is just a sweet playful furball.
